Services & Fees:
Just as every individual person is unique, no two moves or organizing projects are alike.

Regarding relocation:  Sometimes family members are available to help and assistance is needed in only one or two areas. Other moves require a Senior Move Manager / Professional Organizer to be involved from start to finish either because no family members live in the area, or they are unavailable due to extenuating circumstances.

Organizing projects can vary widely, too.  De-cluttering and putting a room to rights can be simple or complicated depending on the amount of possessions, the number of family members involved and the underlying cause of the problem.

Because every situation varies, we feel it is in everyone's best interest to first schedule a 20-30 minute Initial Phone Interview to obtain details regarding your organizing or relocation needs.
Fee schedules and package plans will be discussed at that time.

If mutually agreeable, the next step would be to schedule a one-hour On-Site Survey for which the fee is $50.  If, at the end of the On-Site Survey, services are contracted and a deposit made, the $50 survey fee will be applied towards contracted hours.

Services Available

Residential Organizing:

  • De-Cluttering
  • Organizing for function and/or form
  • Arranging for dispersal of items that no longer support you and your current lifestyle
    • Dispersal Options might include estate sales, auctions, gifting to family and friends or perhaps making charitable donations.


For Relocation:
  • Writing up a Move Plan / Schedule
  • Dispersal of items not moving with you.
  • Preparing a floor plan showing furniture arrangement in your new home  (Why pay to move it if it won't fit in your new home?)

  • Pre-Move sorting and compiling an inventory of items to be packed
  • Assisting on the day of the move





  • Staging of your home for sale

Before Staging

  • Local moves: Unpacking and setting up new home; removal of packing materials; hanging artwork; grocery shopping
or…
  • Long-Distance Moves: Coordinating with another Senior Move Manager or family member at your destination.

There are numerous advantages to working with a member of the  National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) or the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM). 

One of those advantages is that both organizations offer opportunities to share ideas with national and international colleagues for resources, ideas and information pertinent to both industries.
